Mauro Morelli

Ing Mauro Morelli is a research group leader at the CSIR Aeronautic Systems research group.

Expertise:

Morelli’s expertise stretch from aeronautical engineering, supersonic and transonic wind tunnel testing, to experimental aerodynamics group and wind tunnel facility suite management as well as project management.

Career background:

Morelli graduated at the University of Pisa with a degree in Aerospace Engineering. Morelli is employed at the CSIR as a wind tunnel engineer in the CSIR’s Medium Speed Wind Tunnel (MSWT). He became the MSWT facility manager and later experimental aerodynamics Research Group Leader and manager of the complete suite of CSIR aeronautical wind tunnels (4 production tunnels and 2 academic tunnels).
